Gerhard Rosenberger of the University of Dortmund has made seminal contributions to Combinatorial Group Theory, Number Theory and Complex Analysis and to the interactions between these areas. Along the way he has worked with a tremendous number of people and has had many students in each of these sometimes diverse areas. A conference in honor of his sixtieth birthday will be held December 9-10,2004 at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut. This will be an opportunity to both honor Prof. Rosenberger and to bring together workers from these disciplines. The main speakers will be primarily people who worked directly with Gerhard but there will be opportunities for informal discussions and workshops during the two days at Fairfield.

The conference dinner will be held the evening of December 9.
Fairfield University is located on a beautiful campus about 45 miles from New York City and 30 miles from New Haven (Yale). It is easy to reach from all New York airports.
