In other words, if you do well on quizzes and homework (if you keep up with them you should get in the 90s at least) they will each count for 14.3% of your grade, otherwise they will not effect it. This grading system also works out very generously, to account for the fact that my tests tend to be hard. Don't panic!
This number I will round to the nearest 10th and turn into a letter grade as follows:

I will give a mixture of in-class and Mathonline quizzes. mathonline quizzes you can take for practice as often as you like, and can go to the Math Center and take proctored as often as you like, and the highest proctored score is your grade. Thus if you are willing to put the time in there is no reason you cannot get a perfect score on most of these as well.
